In a week where they beat two time defending Big Ten Champ Wisconsin, Maryland finished the weekend getting swept in their own BB&T tournament losing to Gonzaga and West Va.

I expect Maryland to still have a good season, the team is young and has alot of talent , but still are a year from really making another run at the Final Four....

Next up Fla.

I hate to bash Gary...but their half court offense is just disgusting...unless the are creating off of turnovers...or breaking they really struggle to score...and it would be nice if they could defend the perimeter a little better, they are getting kilkled by the trifecta

that being said, i thing maryland will be able to compete in an up tempo game with florida which should be real fun to watch!!!

"Garyland" has never been the half court master so to speak, this team nees more penetration from its point guards, particularly Gilchrest....That zone WVa used on Maryland yeaterday was giving them fits, that was one of the most boring games I ever watched...The final 10 minutes of regulation Maryland sat around , no moving without the ball, no penetration or breaking down anyone off the dribble...And when they did get a decent look (which was almost never) they fumbled the ball away ...

Its still early but this young team will go thru some growing pains...I think Fla covers easy, the uptempo should help though...But how will Maryland score with Fla. over the whole game?
